There is absolutely no time like the postpartum period. Whether this is your first or tenth baby, each pregnancy is a new transition. Every birth, every baby is unique, and each requires special support.

My goal is to help you in whatever way you need as you navigate this period–because real life starts when you get back home, and support shouldn't stop at discharge.

About Me

Hi, I’m Carlie Schofield, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), mom of three, and world explorer.

I have a passion for supporting Women’s Health. I’ve spent years working with women all over the world: in Ghana, Africa teaching about HIV/AIDS; at SLC WIC helping women learn to breastfeed; in Berlin, Germany, leading an English speaking lactation/feeding support group; and as a postpartum doula, helping new parents navigate this new life change. Here in Boulder, CO,  I run an infant feeding support group, and provide in-home infant feeding consultations.

After the premature birth of my second baby, I navigated my own feeding challenges with the support of great lactation consultants. I knew then that I wanted to provide new parents the same love and support that I received. I’ve never loved any job more!

It is a privilege to be part of a family’s journey. I love working together to reach feeding goals, provide information, and give support. The baby snuggles are the icing on the cake!

IN-HOME VISITS are available in Erie, Lafayette, Louisville, Longmont, Broomfield, Boulder, Westminster, Brighton, and the surrounding areas. Further travel may be possible with a travel fee.
